Calling all men of the sangha!  Please join us for this very special day!  From 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., we’ll be joined by Aryaloka president and Public Preceptor Dh. Nagabodhi, followed by a potluck lunch, and at 2:00 p.m. we’ll be there to witness our own Stephen Sloan’s ordination ceremony.

Nagabodhi will speak with us about the themes of the day, including what the ordination ceremony entails, a discussion of the meaning of Going for Refuge, and the ordination process.

Our lunch will be a joint effort, with all attendees bringing a dish of their choice (please contact Eric Wentworth to coordinate at eric@wintercrowstudio.com).

At 2:00 we’ll reconvene in the main building as the main event unfolds.  Stephen Sloan will be taking ordination vows and entering a new phase of spiritual life – a hugely important event for Stephen personally, and for the men’s community as well (the first member of the Aryaloka men’s sangha ordained here in many years!).

So, mark your calendars for what promises to be an exciting and rich experience!
