Date: Sunday, December 2, 2012
Times: 9:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
This Order/Mitra Day is led by an all-star cast as we’re joined by seven Order members who will help to guide discussion – not to be missed! The topic of the day will be “To the Sangha for Refuge I Go,” an exploration of what the Sangha Jewel means to us, how we experience its influence in our own practice, what contributes to an effective sangha, and how changes in technology and society might change the landscape of how we interact with each other.
On Order/Mitra practice days, Order members and Mitras have an opportunity to come together and share their practices through meditation, focused study, devotion, and discussion groups. We’ll develop a deeper understanding of the Dharma and deeper spiritual friendships with each other.
Lunch for the day is potluck, so please bring a dish to share with all.
