Event Dates: Saturday, August 18, 2018.  9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Twenty-five hundred years ago, the Buddha’s foremost disciple, Sariputta, was with the Buddha near Savatthi, India.  Followers of the Buddha had traveled a long distance to receive teachings. Sariputta, who was praised by the Buddha for his wisdom, decided to teach about Right View, the first step on the Buddha’s Noble Eightfold Path to peace and Enlightment.

On this study day we will listen to, meditate on, and discuss how we can achieve Right View – and maybe even Perfect Vision, full insight into the nature of existence.  We will sit with and learn from the great master Sariputta, an enlightened being, and start down our own eightfold path. We will go to the very core of the Dhamma.
