Right Livelihood Businesses
Right Livelihood is the traditional Buddhist term for work that is ethical and helpful to one's spiritual development. In the 1970s people in the FWBO started working together as a way of raising money for other FWBO projects. They soon discovered that Right Livelihood could itself be a means of spiritual practice, a training ground for developing awareness and the capacity to co-operate and take initiative. There are now many such businesses around the world, as represented by their web sites below.
