Emotions and Intuition from a Buddhist Perspective, Pt II

This weekend retreat will continue to explore the Buddhist perspective on emotion through interactive means. There will be teachings, reflection, meditation and experiential sessions.

We will look at three areas in particular:

• How does Bodhicitta arise under the influence of our emotions?
• How do previous experience and awareness affect intuition?
• How does awareness of emotions aid compassionate decision making?

Participants need to have attended Emotions: Part I last February or have a general understanding of emotions and Buddhism. Participants must have an established personal meditation practice.

The retreat will be organized in cooperative fashion. Participants will have a kitchen job each day and will also help with a final clean-up of the Center on Sunday.
