NVC gives us a clear and practical way to relate to ourselves and others on the basis of our common humanity. Using spatial maps of the NVC process for active and integrated learning, this weekend retreat will combine meditation and periods of reflection with elements of the NVC Basic Training.

This workshop:

  • introduces you to the steps of the NVC process for use in expressing yourself to others, listening to others and listening compassionately to yourself.
  • will give you sufficient information and practice to start using NVC in your daily life.
  • is run in an experiential style working with examples from participants' lives.
  • uses the NVC Dance Floors for active, integrated learning.
  • is challenging, moving, supportive and fun!

To prepare for this workshop, please read Marshall B. Rosenberg's book Nonviolent Communication, A Language of Life (ISBN 1892005034) or watch the DVD, "The Basics of NVC".

Please note that these fees are not fixed - we are happy to negotiate if you find it difficult to imagine coming for financial reasons. In addition, if you are not sure that this workshop is for you, and you want to talk it over, please feel free to get in touch with Shantigarbha at sg@seedofpeace.org
