Meeting weekly on Thursdays from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, the Buddhist Recovery Meetings  take place at the Aryaloka Buddhist Center, at the building behind the domes, Akashaloka. The meetings are facilitated by Barry Timmerman, a person in long-term recovery and a committed Buddhist. The Buddhist Recovery Meetings focus on Buddhist teachings, traditions and practices that can be helpful to people recovering from addiction to alcohol and other drugs. This workshop is an intensive introduction to the Mindfulness of Breathing meditation practice. Basic methods of setting up our meditation and the traditional Buddhist meditation form will taught.
