Event Dates: June 27 and 28, 9:30am-12:30pm (EDT)

This event will take place on Zoom on Saturday and Sunday morning, 9:30 to 12:30 both days.

You’ve probably been given very specific instructions on how to develop mindfulness. You’ve probably received very clear direction in how to cultivate loving-kindness. But dhyana — even although it’s considered to be the basis of Awakening itself — is usually left to chance. Sometimes it happens to us out of the blue, and we’re not entirely clear how. More often it remains elusive, to the point where we start thinking of it as something only a few “expert” meditators experience.

But what if there was a simple, step-by-step way to let dhyana arise? On this weekend retreat Bodhipaksa will break down the components of the dhyana experience and introduce a step-by-step approach to cultivating it. You may or may not experience dhyana on this retreat, but you’ll certainly move in that direction and will come away with a whole new bunch of meditation skills!

If you’d prefer not to book through Evenbrite you may email info@aryaloka.org to make other arrangements. You will receive a Zoom link prior to the event.
